Adding Flexibility to the Main Board

What I was looking for was a better PSU, some flexibility, maybe less noise - basically I wanted access to the front of the circuit - without any reverb at all, chorus/doubler occasionally ... this all-time classic design has a nice compressor, band-pass filtered overdriver and piece-wise linear filter circuit combinations worth having in better fidelity ... it's a fave

The complex-filter/HiPass circuits are made available to both compressor and diode-grounded OD circuit outputs for some variety of sounds (no big deal) ... a blend control and bypass switch is added to the Chorus, and the Chorus speed is given a wide range of adjustability (6.8K speed fixed resistor replaced by 250K pot) ... foot-switches for fuzz/clean and direct bypass selection are also added ...

The distortion circuit is left unaltered but the front-end gain stage is given a lowered range of attenuation (250k pot instead of 10k) - this increases the signal level going into the compressor and so also affects the response of both the compressor and OD circuits ... the compressor receives an adjustable threshold control instead of the stock circuit which switched between 3k and 12k there ... these set two bias levels for the jFet device - these are now replaced by a 25k pot for a variable compressor control ...
